Mendolonium

We were invited to celebrate the election last night at a party sponsored by our congressman’s office.  The congressman gave a speech in which he explained why he had supported Obama from the beginning of his campaign for president – nearly two years ago.  He spoke of a “candidate that could lead us all”, paused, and then Thomas spontaneously yelled out “Obama!”.*

I am so proud of my little Democrat and of our country.

*Thomas then continued to yell “Obama!” with such fervor that Jeff had to take him out of the room so the congressman could finish his speech in peace.
