Shower Time
After a day of getting thoroughly filthy, it’s bathtime at Mendolo farms. Thomas just ran up to us trying to peel his shirt off and exclaimed, “I want to take off my clothes and take a shower!”. I have to say that this is new – we’ve never had a request for a shower before. He’s now in the bathroom and has clarified. “I want to close the door. No daddy in there. No mama in there.” I thought I had until he was at least five before he was asking for a private shower. Why not though? So Jeff is warming up the water for him….Thomas just stepped in the shower and leapt right back out with a proclamation of “I want a bath!”. I guess he’s not quite as grown up as he thinks.
