Wasn't there a sheep episode on one of our moves? I think it was going through Wyoming, and a rancher was moving his sheep across the road, and we had to wait while they got across. (they moved VERY slowly). Also, wasn't there a moth incident in Hayes, KS, on another one of our moves? Good grief, I think I've got the beginnings of a book!
Love ya, Mom

Ye Gods how could mom and I be such bad parents to allow you to roam freely in the back of the doge station wagon with all the blankets, and pillows and you dolls and stuffed animals and Calico your guard cat. Pine forests of Minnesota as we drove to The Gilettes house in Minneapolis and west to south Dakota and then down to route 80 across the great corn desert of Western Nebraska on to the Plains and into the mointains and deserts of Wyoming and Utah and out along the great salt lake to the Nevada desert and then over the Donner Pass to the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valley. The joy of 17 Moves and the memories we had so goood some not so good and the fact you got to see the world according to the Railroad. I hope Thomas has the memory of his 1st train rides on PAPA Daves RED TRAIN.
Apple pie and cookies a great way to end the day and then start the day again the next morning. You know me aand a good Granny smith, in a pie with a few carmels thrown in my oh my would that be good with some vanilla Ice cream.
An apple peeler just another tool to do some work, Watch out when he tries to take it apart. Thomas like you is a night owl and ever inqusitive and questioning the reasons why things are as they are, you need to just let that free sprit flow till he falls asleeep. I hope little Henry get the tooth in soon. He is a good baby. We miss you, Jeff and the boys it was great to see you 2 weekends ago and we are here to give you time if you and Jeff need some alone time just let us know.

Love
