Well I gave away my chilli recipe, well almost gave it away not all the spices. A freind wanted to use it for a cook off this weekend, and it came in 2nd . While it is a meat recipe here it is for you veggie style.
for a large crock pot :
1 15 oz can vegitarian chili beans , 1 15 oz can Black beans, 1 15 oz can canned corn, 1 15 oz can white beans.
Drain liquid from the beans.
5 fresh jalpeno peppers diced
8 serano peppers diced
2 oz cans green chili diced and drained
1 medium onion diced
2 cloves garlic crushed
2 16 oz cans diced tomatos or fresh tomatos
1 16 oz can tomato puree
2 table spoons of red pepper, 2 table spoons cayanee pepper
14 oz ground chili powder
Tabasco sauce 2 table spoons, add more for more heat
1 tea spoon habernoro sauce
1 bunch fresh cilantro
Cook/saute onions, garlic, peppers in a pot or pan, then add the diced tomatoes and the puree and then add in the Chilli powder.
Add beans, and corn and then stir in the other spices, cook for 3 hours on low heat
can be served over fritos, rice, or plain with some cheese on top. Cinncinati style would be served over pasta. Try this one out I think you would all like it. When you get that perfect chocolate chip recipe let me know "taste" them.

I think about how I can be the best PAPA to the boys and how I will perfect some of my cooking and BBQ recipes when I retire in the next 5 or 6 years. You are a great mom and the rest will come, you do not have to be perfect and you will find the balance between family, your work, whatever it may be and you are on that path now.

Love you all PAPA Dave
