I would add black beans and an onion. I just planted a lemon tree as part of our new landscaping and hope it will take. I love my lemons already. Surely she meant bread as an accompaniment to a meal? I made a wonderful yeast Polish Easter bread last spring for our family party and it came out perfectly. My recent attempt at baguettes? Laughable. Chemistry gone wrong, or right I guess. Would love to get a bread lesson from you sometime. Though we do have to limit our bread around here unfortunately because Ev would consume bread for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if we let her. So would her mama, but I attempt some self-control and vegetables before gorging. I'm Italian too - I can't help myself.

Pasta when all else fails we always have pasta, boil, with sauce, olive oil or some pesto, or cheese many a night when I get home from work and we do not know what to have pasta fills the bill. I know I should cut out pasta but well We are Italian. Also we keep lots of canned fruit its a great healthy snack.

Bread my down fall did you have to show the picture of the bread, now I am hungry for bread and there is none in the house, oh well, I guess I will eat an apple or some other fruit. It better for me. LOL

Those two boys of yours love pasta I always like to see them eat pasta when I visit.
